EPISODE DESCRIPTION

This is a true story. Every night during the Vietnam War Channel 7 Eyewitness News would have like a tote board with the names of the local boys who were killed that day up on it. Now my mom and I would sit in front of that big RCA TV at 11 O'clock and nervously watch, and wait-just to make sure that there was no mistake and my brother Wayne's name doesn't happen to show up there. This song always made my big brother cry and I honor him and the rest of the men in my family who served this country; My grandpa Ralph in WWI, my father, and uncles Arthur and Ralphie, in WWII, my uncle John in Korea, and finally my cousin Chip and brother Wayne in Vietnam.
